Uthodurn's initial effort to expand beyond its mountain halls resulted in the establishment of Uraliss, a small town intended to facilitate crop production.
To prepare the land for farming, the town's constructors developed arcane wards and placed them in a snowy field near the Flotket Alps, hoping to gradually melt the snow and create arable land. Unfortunately, the settlement was plagued by attacks from orcs and other dangers in the Rime Plains, and its aspirations were further shattered when the soil beneath the snow was discovered to be rocky and unsuitable for cultivation. Consequently, the town was rapidly abandoned and now stands as a dilapidated ghost town, vulnerable to vandalism and repurposing by the Boroftkrah orcs of the Rime Plains.
Despite its abandonment, Uraliss still holds a certain allure for adventurers and treasure hunters. Rumors abound of valuable artifacts and lost treasures left behind by the town's former inhabitants. Many brave souls have attempted to explore the ruins, but few have returned, often falling victim to the harsh environment or the Boroftkrah orcs who now call the area home. Nevertheless, the stories persist, drawing in new explorers seeking fame and fortune, and adding to the mystique of the once-promising settlement.
