Located on the southernmost west coast of Eldervast is a vast and unforgiving desert called The Endless Expanse. The landscape is a harsh blend of scorching daytime heat and freezing nighttime temperatures, showcasing massive dunes, shifting sands, and rare oasis hideaways. Once the cradle of an ancient civilization, the desert is now scattered with mysterious ruins and dragon graveyards. Inhabitants of the region range from the Gnomes of Sandwatch to the eclectic outcasts of pirates, treasure-seekers, and mercenaries of Haboob and Realm's End Beach. All of whom have adapted to the extreme conditions through resourcefulness and resilience.

Adventure Hook:
- The adventuring party comes across a flyer advertising the grand reopening of the Scufflestray Gauntlet. Interested participants are to seek Zarax in Haboob.
- King Thizzlewick of Sandwatch reaches out to the adventurers asking for their assistance. He requests that they travel to Haboob to retrieve a stolen key from Zarax. This key is believed to uncover and unlock the Lost City of Veilwind. As a show of good faith and gratitude, the king gifts each adventurer with a Potion of Greater Healing before they set off on this quest.
