Port Damali
Port Damali is a bustling city that is widely known as the jewel of the Menagerie Coast.
The original Marquesian colony and the unofficial capital of free trade outside the empire, Port Damali is home to a massive port that accommodates ships from all over the world, resulting in a diverse society that blends different cultures and trades. Trade routes emanate from various parts of the city to ensure rapid transportation of goods to destinations across Wildemount and beyond.
The city's architecture is a mixture of historical roots and lavish opulence in the inner wards, while the outer wards try to combat the slum-like atmosphere with inexpensive, colorful banners and street performers. The city has a seedy underbelly of crime, murder, and corruption that many believe is unfortunate but necessary for the city to operate.
Nestled against the Tyodan River where it meets the Lucidian Ocean, Port Damali is a resplendent seaside metropolis and the largest city on the western coast of Wildemount. The city is situated atop a cluster of leveled hills, with each ward being physically marked by slight changes in elevation.
The Prism Path, a series of connecting main roads made from smooth, multicolored stones reclaimed from the ocean shores, lies beyond the farmsteads and the tents and ramshackle homes that demarcate the city's boundaries.
