A ridge of small, flame-like frills runs along his head and down his spine, giving him a striking and dangerous appearance.
Skarth wears a patchwork of leather and scavenged armor, reinforced with volcanic glass and scorched metal plates. His cloak is a tattered scrap of dragonhide, rumored to have been claimed from the draconic being that blessed him. Around his neck hangs a crude obsidian talisman, its edges jagged and sharp, inscribed with draconic runes that pulse faintly with heat.
Backstory
Skarth was born in a volcanic warren, one of countless kobolds serving under a tyrannical red dragon overlord. His destiny changed the day he was chosen as a "sacrifice" during one of the dragon's fiery rituals. Instead of perishing in the flames, Skarth emerged transformed, his blood ignited with a spark of draconic power. He fled his warren that very night, vowing never to serve another master again.
